Triple City CPR — Student Policies & Training Agreement
Effective 8/27/26. These policies are provided to every student before the training start date and are also posted at triplecitycpr.com. By registering for a class or paying an invoice, you agree to them.
Triple City CPR (Aspire Training Organization ID: 181425) is an HSI/ASHI-authorized training provider and a participating Training Organization with the New York State Early Childhood Education and Training Program (ECETP). These policies apply to all students, whether paying privately, through an employer, or with scholarship funding.
1. Registration
Individuals reserve a seat through our online scheduler at triplecitycpr.com/schedule. Registration is confirmed by email once payment is on file. Please register using your full legal name exactly as it should appear on your certification card and, if applicable, your scholarship award.
Groups and employers are registered by invoice. The invoice lists the course, date, location, and student count.
Blended roster changes may be accommodated as long as the replacement student completes all online coursework before the scheduled skills session and the original student's training link has not been opened.
Course selection is the student's or administrator's responsibility. HSI/ASHI instructors do not determine which CPR, First Aid, AED, or related course satisfies federal, state, local, employer, or departmental requirements. Please verify course suitability before training. Certificates are issued for the course actually taught and cannot be changed afterward if the wrong course was selected.
2. Payment
Individuals: tuition is due at the time of booking through the online scheduler. Groups: payment is due upon receipt of invoice. We accept major credit/debit cards; group trainings are invoiced.
Scholarship funding to participate in this training may be available through the Educational Incentive Program (EIP). For more information or to apply for a scholarship, please visit www.ecetp.pdp.albany.edu. You may also contact EIP by email at eip@albany.edu or by phone at either (800) 295-9616 or (518) 442-6575.
If an award covers only part of tuition, the balance is due before the class start date. If you paid out of pocket and a scholarship payment is later received on your behalf for the same class, we will reimburse you the amount covered by the award.
3. Blended Learning Format
Most Triple City CPR classes are blended: an online course you complete on your own, followed by an in-person skills session (approximately one hour) with an authorized instructor. Your online course link is emailed shortly after booking (individuals) or after payment is received (groups). You can log out and return anytime; completed lessons are saved. These online courses are not designed to be completed on a mobile device. Therefore, please ensure you have access to a desktop computer.
The online portion must be completed before your skills session. If you arrive without it finished, you cannot participate and will need to reschedule (see Section 5). Blended courses satisfy most New York State requirements because of the in-person skills verification; confirming acceptance with your employer or licensing agency remains the student's or administrator's responsibility.
4. Attendance and Certification
Certification requires full attendance and successful demonstration of all skills. Attendance is recorded at every in-person session and each student signs the class roster. Please arrive on time — students who miss part of a session must make up the missed content by attending a regularly scheduled skills session supervised by an approved trainer before a card can be issued. Training hours reflect instructional time only and do not include lunch or breaks. Classes are taught in the language listed on the schedule (English unless otherwise noted).
Certificates are issued only for the training hours actually completed. Your HSI/ASHI certification card, delivered electronically by email after successful completion and payment in full, serves as your certificate of completion. Replacement copies are available on request.
Class size: maximum 12 students per session. No exceptions. Groups larger than 12 are split into multiple sessions (1–12 students = 1 session; 13–24 = 2 sessions; and so on) that may occur back-to-back.
5. Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Withdrawal
Rescheduling: if you can't attend your scheduled skills session, you may reschedule at no charge to any public skills session at triplecitycpr.com/schedule using the reschedule code included in your course email. Your payment carries over in full — there is no fee to reschedule. This applies to individuals and to group students who miss their on-site session — Triple City CPR does not return for separate makeup visits unless hired to do so for a new class, in which case Team Training dollar minimums may apply. Missed students attend a public skills session instead.
Reschedule window: your seat can be rescheduled for up to three (3) months from your original class/skills session date. After three months, unused enrollments expire.
Cancellation: Triple City CPR does not charge a cancellation fee. Tuition is non-refundable, but it is never forfeited by canceling a date — canceling a scheduled session simply returns your enrollment to open status, and you may rebook any public skills session within your three-month window at no additional cost.
Refunds: tuition is non-refundable. No refunds are issued for students who receive access to online coursework but do not complete the course or the skills session, or whose enrollment expires. If Triple City CPR cancels or reschedules a class, you'll be notified as early as possible (at least 48 hours in advance except in an emergency) and offered a new date or a full refund; for classes with scholarship students, the funding program is notified as well.
Withdrawal: if you decide not to complete a course, let us know by email or text so we can update our records. Withdrawn enrollments follow the cancellation terms above: no fee, no refund, and the enrollment may be rebooked until it expires at the three-month mark. Students using scholarship funding should also notify the funding program, since awards are tied to a specific course and date.
6. Scholarship Students (ECETP / EIP)
Triple City CPR is unable to assist with applications beyond providing information about the classes themselves.
7. Records and Privacy
Training, attendance, and payment records (including payment date, method, and amount) are kept for seven (7) years. Your information is used only to deliver your training and issue your certification. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.
8. Conduct
Our classroom is respectful and safe. Students who are disruptive, impaired, or unsafe with equipment may be asked to leave without a refund.
